When you have lost every car key and there is no spare left anywhere, there is nothing to copy. The key has to be originated: the cut is derived from the vehicle's key code, and the immobiliser has to be programmed from scratch through the diagnostic port — or, on some makes, at the module itself.
This is where locksmiths separate. Plenty can cut a key. Fewer can complete an all-keys-lost on a push-to-start vehicle, and fewer still on makes where the immobiliser module has to be handled directly rather than through the port.
You will need to show ownership — a driver's licence and the vehicle registration. If the car is a rental, the rental agreement stands in place of registration. This is not us being awkward: originating a key to a vehicle is exactly the capability that has to be handled carefully.

Can you make a car key if I have lost every key?
Yes — that is our specialty. With no working key, the key is originated from the vehicle's key code and the immobiliser is programmed from scratch. Bring your driver's licence and the vehicle registration so we can confirm ownership. Call with the year, make and model and we will confirm on the phone whether it is a job we complete on site.
Do I need to tow my car to the dealer for a lost key?
In most cases, no. A mobile locksmith with the right equipment can originate a key at the vehicle, so there is no tow and no dealer appointment. There are a small number of makes and model years where the dealer is genuinely the right answer, and we will tell you if yours is one of them rather than take the job and find out.
What do you need from me before you come out?
The year, make and model of the vehicle, and the VIN if you can read it through the base of the windscreen. For a home or business call, the number of locks and the hardware brand if you know it. That is what lets us quote a real range instead of a guess.
What identification do I need for a car key?
A driver's licence and the vehicle registration. If the vehicle is a rental, the rental agreement works in place of the registration. Originating a key to a car is exactly the kind of capability that has to be handled carefully, so this is not negotiable.
