Jeep car key replacement
Jeep runs the Stellantis immobiliser family — SKREEM on older vehicles, then the RF Hub. Both need a PIN before a key can be added. Wrangler, Grand Cherokee and Cherokee each use different key formats across their generations.
Every Jeep key we supply is cut to the vehicle and finished with car key programming on site. A key that opens the door but will not start the engine is only half the job.
Key types we cut and program
- Fobik
- Smart key (proximity)
- Transponder key
All keys lost
Jeep all-keys-lost requires reading the PIN from the module. We carry the equipment for it, so the vehicle stays where it is rather than going on a flatbed to a dealer.
Worth knowing
Jeep fobik keys crack at the blade joint, and a cracked shell will eventually stop reading. Re-shelling the existing electronics costs far less than a new programmed key.

Common questions
Can you make a car key if I have lost every key?
Yes — that is our specialty. With no working key, the key is originated from the vehicle's key code and the immobiliser is programmed from scratch. Bring your driver's licence and the vehicle registration so we can confirm ownership. Call with the year, make and model and we will confirm on the phone whether it is a job we complete on site.
Do I need to tow my car to the dealer for a lost key?
In most cases, no. A mobile locksmith with the right equipment can originate a key at the vehicle, so there is no tow and no dealer appointment. There are a small number of makes and model years where the dealer is genuinely the right answer, and we will tell you if yours is one of them rather than take the job and find out.
What do you need from me before you come out?
The year, make and model of the vehicle, and the VIN if you can read it through the base of the windscreen. For a home or business call, the number of locks and the hardware brand if you know it. That is what lets us quote a real range instead of a guess.
